REGISTER FOR THE FALL FORUM HERE

Registration for the HEAU 2014 Fall Forum is now open!  The event will take place on Friday, November 7th at the Salt Lake City Public Library located at 210 E. 400 S. in Salt Lake City.  The conference will begin with breakfast at 8:30 a.m. and adjourn at noon.  The forum will provide attendees with opportunities to learn about new and exciting information from distinguished and respected professionals within the field of health education while earning up to 3 CHES/MCHES credits.  The conference will consist of two keynote presentations, one on legalization of marijuana and the other on the effective use of social media to brand yourself and the field of health education.  There will also be one breakout session with two presentations to choose from, one on art journaling and the other on mental health crisis services in Utah.  The conference schedule will be as follows:

8:30-8:50 a.m. Breakfast
8:50-9:00 a.m. Welcome and announcements regarding the U-SOPHE transition
9-9:50 a.m. Keynote #1
10-10:50 a.m. Breakout Session
11-11:50 a.m. Keynote #2

This should be a very informative set of presentations.  Registration is $15 if registered by Friday, October 31st and $20 thereafter, including walk-ins.  Please note, walk-in registrations will be limited to the first 15 people due to time constraints and food availability.  You will also have the opportunity to pay for your CHES/MCHES credits ($3 for HEAU members or $5 for non-members) during the registration process.  We hope to see you there.  To register for the conference, please click HERE.

Please note, parking at the library is the responsibility of the conference attendee (up to $12 per car).  Therefore, we highly recommend attendees carpool and share the cost of parking or ride public transportation.  As an incentive to do so, those who carpool or ride public transportation will receive an extra ticket for the prize drawings.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact James Bemel at JBEMEL@uvu.edu.
